Angela... Angela, Angela, Angela... She dodged the judges big time, this week. She's lucky she had the team that she had. I was convinced she was going home. She needs to calm down and be more creative! The clothing she brought at the audition was cute, but I'm getting sick of looking at her Forever 21 looking clothes. We've seen it already. She needs to listen to the other designers, break some rules, and get inspired!
Now, the runway!
Disclaimer: I don't own these photos. They belong to Project Runway.
Follow along with me HERE! Sorry that these may not be in order. I did not expect these photos to be so tiny!
Left: Alexander. It's a nay. The dress overpower's the model and looks like a witches broom. It isn't terribly terrible, but it is bad.
Center: Emily. Such a weird silhouette, but for some reason, I like it!
Right: Samantha. HOW RAD IS THAT TOP?! And it's mad of CD's! It's awesome. And so is the skirt. A lot of people used film for their dresses and skirts, but hers stood out!
Left: Kristine. Absolutely love how she used these letters! The whole dress is plain cool!
Center: Korina. Oh how I hate this girl's attitude, her designs are wicked. At first, I was nervous when it looked she was making a halter top, but horizontal stripes on the top look great!
Right: Amanda. The winner this week. This whole collection was great, but I'm not sure I agree with the judges. This dress is cool and I like how she used a bunch of different materials to get the effect, but if I had to choose 1 from this group, it would be Kristine. It is a great dress, though!
Left: Sean. It's looks okay. I like how he used the straws. My mom said they looked like tampons.
Center: Angela...... Must we talk about this? You can't even tell she used a script, the dress is plain ugly, and basically she needs to go home. :-(
Right: Fäde. Not crazy about the bottom, but the top is awesome and creative and I haven't seen it before! This guy is a little weird, but his designs so far have been incredible.
Left: Hernan. Best of the group, of course, because he ruined the rest of the group with his dictatorship. Thanks, Hernan.
Center: Carrie. Cute. Basic and cute. But basic. Super basic.
Right: Sandhya. Worst, we all know it. She would have been fine if the rest of the group hadn't gotten so scared and close-minded.
Left: Char. People seem to like this one, but it looked like a circus clown dress. And then a kid at Chuck E Cheese's tripped and dropped all of their tickets on the dress.
Center: Kini. The bottom is interesting... That's all.
Right: Have you read my title?
In the end, I don't agree with the judge's winner, but unfortunately I don't think Mitchell's group was as good as his dress. :-'''(
And Carrie and Hernan both deserved to go home. If I had to pick one, though, it should have been Hernan. He took over the group's designs and ruined them. That's the only reason he had a decent design.
This was a great week and I can't wait to see what happens next week. It looks pretty gnarly. Cya!
